DAYTECH's team delivered end to end, from scope of works to design, manufacture and project delivery of a fully wireless monitoring and control system, with edge computing, software platform, SCADA integration and complete remote operations capability in PNG.

Electronics and Software Systems Engineering - Technology Consulting for RAA's Road Service and Solar divisions.

Engineering and Technology Consulting for RAA, including various electrical and electronic device and systems compliance projects, electronics and software validation, safety analysis, operational integration and new product validation.

We provided 3rd party supplier auditing services, auditing technical products and service providers to ensure compliance and capability were suitable. We worked closely with RAA's German GPS, emergency response and worker safety tracking manufacturer, to ensure compliance, operational readiness and software integration. We attended the manufacturing facilities for Lithium Battery manufacturers and audited companies including Tesla, LG Chem, Sonnen and several others.

Working across the Road Service and newly established Solar divisions, our team worked closely and integrated with RAA's marketing, sales and technical teams, where deliverables needed to be tied into marketing objectives for the company, in addition to the technical aspects of engineering, safety and compliance.

Mine Site Smart Water Management and Remote Operations Upgrade

A well known open pit mining company had a unique project requiring an innovative approach to integrated tailings dam management, bore water, and run off management, to ensure EPA compliance and safety.

DAYTECH's team provided turnkey project services, including detailed design of EI&C, remote power and communications systems, wireless sensor networks and connectivity, pump automation, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.

Bitumen Plant SCADA + EI&C Upgrades

Shell Australia's Bitumen Plant at Birkenhead in SA was in need of a Direct to Gantry system upgrade, for loadout of bitumen to truck's, where our team provided turnkey engineering, detailed design and delivery services, including commissioning and handover.

Defence Compliance Auditing and Upgrades - Facilities Australia Wide

Working with project delivery partners, our team provided Subject Matter Expertise for several key projects at the Department of Defence RAAF bases and facilities throughout Australia to deliver Hazardous Areas Engineering, remediation works and EI&C project engineering works.

Department for Infrastructure & Transport - St Agnes Biodiesel Bus Depot

A complete delivery of a new turnkey tank gauging and bus refuelling control system for DIT's blended biodiesel facility at St Agnes in SA. The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Process Control and Industrial Automation system, provided batch filling for transfer of biodiesel from the tanker trucks to the storage tanks, in addition to intermediate transfer pumping to the refuelling stations.

The project included needs analysis and scope of works consulting, detailed design, manufacture of control panels and skid equipment and included procurement and supply of all instrumentation and controls required for safe and automatic transfer.

Project Management, electrical construction, EI&C Commissioning, Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Areas consulting engineering was also provided to complete the project.

DAYTECH's team delivered innovative tanker truck and depot fuel tank farm wireless instrumentation in Hazardous Areas. Our turnkey solution connects with DAYTECH's edge computing system, fleet GPS tracking and operational software platform, for a fuel distribution company.

Major Oil Sludge Treatment Plant - Process & Industrial Automation, Instrumentation & Controls, PLC/HMI and Commissioning

Delivery of an new Oil Sludge Treatment Plant for the Santos Moomba site in the Cooper basin. We worked directly with the principal contractor and the plant owner to provide Process and Industrial Automation, Advanced Instrumentation and Controls, EI&C design, PLC, HMI and integration services.

We provided project management services and design reviews, as well as Hazardous Areas Design, safety risk assessments and HAZOP assistance to the team. We provided specialist staff for commissioning and delivery of the plant.

Uranium Mining Industrial Automation, Control System Turnkey Delivery

A full turnkey delivery of a new Instrumentation and Controls, PLC, HMI, SCADA and remote operations / wireless connectivity system for a novel Uranium Mine process, developed by a team of Chemical and Process engineers to more efficiently extract Uranium from the Acid Leachate.

Largest Quarry Automation Project in SA

Southern Quarries operates the dolomite and bluestone quarry at Sellicks Hill, which has been mined since the early 1970s. At the time of construction of the new crushing plant, DAYTECH's team worked with the crushing plant equipment manufacturing engineers, Rocktec, the electrical contractors and the owner to provide Industrial Automation and software development, Advanced Instrumentation and Controls, Wireless Connectivity, PLC, HMI and integration services for delivery of the plant.
